Time is ticking down!

I stopped by school today and organized some furniture. It's always
fun rethinking my classroom organization. Next will be the wall
decorations:-)

My final blog of the year!

Here is a general outline of the last three days of school:

Tuesday-Number writing, final journal writing, library, centers
Wednesday-Computer lab, centers, sentence writing
Thursday-Attendance awards and diplomas given out (not a graduation),
moving on day, cleaning and more cleaning!

Have a wonderful summer. You will receive your child's report card in a
week or so and your information for first grade in August. Enjoy your
time with your child over the summer months and I will see you in the
Fall. Thanks for all the help and support this year!

Today we finished up our reading units. We will be journaling next week
to really get our sentence writing skills ready for first grade. We also
practiced telling time and finished up our animal unit. Today was our
last day of reader pals. The kids received a free book today from the
Barnum book drive too!

Beautiful Weather!

Today we worked on adding, writing sentences, and we finished up some
more testing. We talked more about farm animals, ducks in particular,
